ARTIST STATEMENT: "I paint abstracts because I've often been called unrealistic (LOL!). I am mainly self-taught. The creative process for me can be humorous, maddening, thought-provoking, and always soul satisfying. I often start the process working quickly by establishing a foundation, then ease into a more relaxed and intuitive state where color and emotion lead the way."
