PRESS RELEASE INFORMATION...

Step into a world where wisdom meets creativity! CAVA (Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists) is delighted to announce our annual juried Later Impressions exhibition which will be held at the Evanston Art Center from April 19th - May 25th. This collection unveils the depths of expression achieved through years of experience, reflection, and growth.

Over 70 pieces in the exhibition showcase the unique perspective of seasoned artists who have honed their craft over decades. A range of mediums will be presented including paintings, photography, printmaking and sculpture. The exhibition was juried by Tom Robinson - Artist, Curator, Teacher, and Juan Manuel Fernandez - Director, Art & Design, Elgin Community College.

Join us at the Evanston Art Center, located at 1717 Central Street in Evanston IL, for the Opening Reception on Friday, April 25, from 5-8pm. The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.

The Evanston Art Center is open 9am-6pm Mondays-Thursdays, 9am-5pm Fridays, and 9am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays.

"We are excited and honored for CAVA to be back at the Evanston Art Center, an art center with a long and rich history of supporting artists and presenting engaging, interesting shows for the community," said Chris Cantele, President of CAVA. "As our longest running juried show in the history of our organization, Later Impressions is always much anticipated by art lovers, collectors, and creatives. We hope everyone will come out to the opening reception to meet our artists and experience top tier fine art in this juried show."

The annual CAVA Learning Symposium will be held from 12-3pm at Evanston Art Center on the last day of the exhibition on May 25th -- this is open to the public, but registration is required. Please refer to the registration link for more information https://www.wearecava.org/exhibitions-events
