Cheryl writes:

Join me for a fun night of collaging beautiful papers, experimental painting, and cocktails! Create your own 5” x 7” collage (or 2!) ready for framing afterwards. We will be diving into my paper stash that’s been 40 years in the making! and of course 🤪, I had to buy and make more!

I’m VERY excited about this class's potential! This will not be your normal "Pinot's Palette" kind of thing where everyone paints the same picture. Blech🤮 I've structured the process so there are as many possible solutions as there are people! Each one will be a unique to YOU!!

We will lay down color using acrylic, pan pastel or spray paint (NOT using brushes!), then forage through my huge inventory of collage papers and build your color palette, learn how to glue them FLAT! and work back in with color, more collage, or whatever you feel it needs. For the final step you'll choose from a wide variety of digitally cut silhouettes of natural imagery- plants, trees, etc., and learn how to apply it to your collage.

Everyone will make 1-2 collages roughly 5" x 7" on watercolor paper. They will have a clean white border for you to sign at the end!

I’ll mix up a big batch of vodka lemonade to share, but if that’s not your drink, feel free to BYOB.
