"Since childhood, I have been fascinated with the wonders of life found in the natural world. The seasons, and the palette of each, hold significance for me. I am driven to make art that is elemental and evocative. I typically paint on wood panels using the encaustic medium which suits me because it has a warm aroma, a lush and sensuous touch, and an unrivaled luster. However, water media painting, glass casting, and printmaking are disciplines that also engage me. I envision each painting as a medley, a melded place, where the gritty and sublime combine." -- Ginny Krueger

Ginny has a Master of Fine Art degree in painting and drawing. She continuously seeks out new and varied experiences through post-graduate study and artist-in-residency opportunities. She has recently traveled to Italy, Mexico, and Spain to participate in residencies to further her art practice.
