eneHow do we understand portraits in the pandemic age? As we emerge from behind our computer screens, re-engage in face-to-face events, are we recognizing the person behind the mask? Have the layers separating us changed the way we understand emotions and how we react? Has the forced distance changed how we think about faces?
GENEVA CENTER FOR THE ARTS invites artists working in all NON-digital media to submit portraits for this exhibition. Submissions will be reviewed by guest juror Dimitri Pavlotsky (his work can be found HERE.)
Two modest cash awards will be presented at opening on February 25, 2022.
Please include title, size, medium in your description.

Entry fee is $25 for up to 3 pieces.
Exhibition dates are February 25- April 1, 2022
Opening reception February 25, 6-8 pm
Submissions due January 30, 2022
Artists notified by February 4, 2022
