January 7, 2025... The St. Charles Arts Council will have a NEW LOCATION beginning February 1, 2025! The new address is 121 N. 2nd Street, Suite H, St. Charles IL 60174.
"Having a physical space for the Arts Council has been on our radar for years", stated Kathryn Hill, SCAC Executive Director. "Our programming will expand exponentially this year, as we now have space for workshops, gallery exhibits and artist talks. We will also have information about local arts organizations so that visitors can see all that St. Charles has to offer in the name of the arts."
The Grand Opening for the new space will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from noon - 3 p.m. The public is invited to come see the new space and celebrate this milestone in the life of the arts council.
The Grand Opening will also feature an exhibit by St. Charles Arts Council Artist Members. "This is the perfect way for us to highlight the incredible talent that lives right here in our community. We have about 40 artist members who will have the opportunity to exhibit their work at our inaugural gallery exhibit," stated Hill.
The St. Charles Arts Council is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization whose mission is to champion and support arts and culture in our community, recognizing the role they play in a healthy economy and high quality of life. Programming includes: Weekly eblasts featuring local art organization events, monthly artist coffee talk meetings, student art show, painting the streets, banner project, Plein Air event and various fundraisers throughout the year.
