The Near West Art Collective returns to Mayslake Peabody Estate for their newest exhibit, "Far Afield" on display until June 29, 2024. Artists have selected work showcasing their adventures "off the beaten path" in nature and the world around them. The exhibit includes original artwork from local landscapes and scenes from their travels. A public reception will be held on Wednesday, June 19, from 6 - 8 pm.
Exhibiting artists (photo below) include Paula Benson, Maggie Capettini, Kelley Clark, Stella De Genova, Nancy Miller, Marie Murrell, Kathleen Newman, Julie Skoda, Judy Skulborstad, Lenox Wallace, and Liz Wall.
Mayslake Hall is open Monday –Friday Noon – 3 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. It is closed Sundays and select holidays.
